Available Job Vacancies at United Nigeria Airlines
Responsibilities will include load control, aircraft weight and balance documentation, and the preparation of Load and Trim Sheets in accordance with company procedures, aircraft limitations and applicable NCAA regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Assistant Flight Dispatcher will be expected to:
Assist the flight dispatcher with load control functions to ensure the safe and accurate distribution of aircraft payload within approved weight and balance limits.
Calculate and verify aircraft weight and balance data.
Prepare the required load control documentation before flight departure.
Coordinate with Flight Dispatchers and ground handling personnel to resolve loading irregularities and ensure operational readiness.
Maintain load control records.
Ensure assigned duties comply with applicable aviation regulations, approved procedures and operational safety standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining flight crew rosters, ensuring adequate crew coverage for scheduled operations, and monitoring compliance with applicable crew duty, rest and Flight Time Limitation (FTL) requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Crew Scheduler will be responsible for:
Preparing, updating and maintaining flight crew rosters in line with the approved flight schedule and available crew resources.
Monitoring crew availability, qualifications, licence validity and other requirements necessary for flight assignments.
Ensuring crew assignments comply with applicable Flight Time Limitations (FTL), duty periods and rest requirements.
Coordinating crew replacements, roster adjustments and operational changes with Crew Control, the Operations Control Centre and other relevant departments.
A minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised institution.
Relevant experience in crew scheduling, airline operations or a related aviation role will be an advantage.
Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to work with crew scheduling systems.
Strong organisational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work shifts, manage time-sensitive assignments and respond effectively to operational changes.
